We are excited to announce Michael R. McLeod has joined the team as the company’s new Senior Wealth Advisor and Director of Financial Planning. In his new position, McLeod is responsible for expanding the firm’s financial planning services and fostering life-long, wealth management client relationships with coastal Georgia and South Carolina’s high net-worth individuals and families.
Before joining The Fiduciary Group, McLeod served as a Client Advisor and Vice President of SunTrust Private Wealth Management in Savannah, where he was responsible for developing and delivering all aspects of high net-worth wealth management, including investment management, financial planning, risk management, trust advisory, estate administration and banking and lending services. During his 13-year tenure with SunTrust, he earned the Top Client Advisor Award, President’s Team Award and Chairman’s Team Award.
An active community leader, McLeod currently serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees for Historic Savannah Foundation, on the Advisory Board of Espy Lumber Company and as the Grants Chair for the Metropolitan Savannah Rotary Club.
Originally from Savannah, McLeod earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. and completed the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business Executive Program for Financial Planning. McLeod currently resides on Skidaway Island.
